About Me

Melanie Fabrizius, artist

I was fortunate to grow up on a farm in Montana, and I now call Billings home. My lifelong passion for art has led me to a career as a freelance graphic artist.

In my "Paper to Pixel" art form, I digitize my drawings by first sketching on a bright white sketchpad with a Sharpie retractable ultra-fine point marker. After completing the initial sketches, I import them into Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to refine, color, and bring the final piece to life.

Although I was initially hesitant, I've recently started integrating AI into some of my artwork, a style known as "New Media". Any prints on my website created with the assistance of AI will be noted in their descriptions.

Another creative passion of mine is designing one-of-a-kind custom rodeo posters, where I combine my love for Western culture with my graphic design expertise.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me out with my two dogs, capturing sunset photos in my hot pink and black Jeep Wrangler, or brainstorming ideas for my next Halloween costume.
