About Me

Melanie Fabrizius, Artist
I was fortunate to grow up on a farm in Montana, and I now call Billings home. A lifelong passion for art has led me to a career as a freelance graphic artist.
In my "Paper to Pixel" process, I start by sketching on a bright white sketchpad using a Sharpie ultra-fine point marker. Once the sketches are complete, I import them into Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, where I refine, color, and bring the final pieces to life.
Although I was initially hesitant, I’ve recently embraced integrating AI into some of my work — a style known as "New Media." Any prints on my website that were created with AI assistance are noted in their descriptions.
Another creative passion of mine is designing one-of-a-kind custom rodeo posters, blending my love for Western culture with my graphic design skills. On average, my rodeo posters take 40 to 60 hours to complete!
Currently, I’m expanding my work by transforming my art into fashion pieces and home goods.
When I'm not creating, you’ll likely find me out with my two dogs, Pistol Annie and Comanche Sue (pictured above), chasing sunsets in my hot pink and black Jeep Wrangler, or dreaming up ideas for my next Halloween costume.
